“Entering its 35th consecutive year, the National Arts Action Summit is the only national event designed to bring together a broad cross-section of America’s cultural and civic organizations to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts and culture. 

“In 2022, the arts sector faces new advocacy and legislative challenges. Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen more pro-arts policies proposed than ever before. By presenting a thoughtful, unified message to decision-makers, advocates can ensure their voice is heard when Congress considers issues like the budget, creative economy, and job creation throughout the year. 

“For 2022, with input from the Americans for the Arts Racial and Cultural Equity Task Force, we are continuing to innovate around this long-standing event to make it more accessible and impactful.

“This year, for the first time, there will be no registration fee to attend the National Arts Action Summit. 

“It is free for both individuals and partner organizations.

“We hope you will join us in building a united coalition of organizations representing our field before the administration and U.S. Congress. By joining together to consider how to expand our message, coalitions, and strategies, we can improve the quality of our representation of all arts and culture stakeholders.”
