03 Feb Update on HB8: Creative Industries Bill
Amendments have been submitted to clarify that the Creative Industries Division applies to all creative industries except film, and to ensure that there is no confusion between the purpose of the Creative Industries Division and the NM Tourism Department.
The bill will be heard again by the House Commerce and Economic Development Committee TOMORROW (Friday, 2/3) at 1:30pm — information on how to view the committee hearing online is below. The committee will not be accepting public comments again, but I believe in the power of good vibes, so I’ll still ask you to show up to support!
