Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program, Featuring Artist Jordan Ann Craig

Jordan Ann Craig is a Northern Cheyenne artist based in Oakland, CA. She was a 2019-2020 Fellow with the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program, and held her culminating exhibition at the Roswell Museum and Art Center. Craig earned her BFA from Dartmouth College studying Studio Art and Psychology. She has participated in numerous residencies and exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally. She was an artist fellow at the School of Advanced Research (SAR) and Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

The Roswell Artist-in-Residence Foundation supports the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program (RAiR), the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art (AMoCA), and the Historic Studios at Berrendo Road. Well known by visual artists as the “Gift of Time,” the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program was established in 1967 to provide artists with year-long fellowships in a supportive and collegial environment, to work without distraction in an effort to break new ground and focus on individual goals.
