“Hello All!
Wow, what a pleasure to commune with so many of you this week about this incredible opportunity to bring our voices together in the house hearing on the Creative Economy.
A couple of important developments: Omicron has hit key members of Rep. Velesquez’s staff which is delaying the finalization of witnesses and the ability to release any information about the hearing to the press and social media. So, while I am providing the final draft (hopefully) of the toolkit, the launch of assets has been pushed to Wednesday, January 12th. Please prepare for the possibility that we may have to push the launch of the social media campaign and any mentions to the press a second time if the representative’s office requests a further delay. If that happens, I will email all of you and send an amended toolkit with an amended posting schedule with the revised dates of launch.
Thank you so much for all your incredible feedback on the toolkit! I’ve implemented all the design notes on the physical pdf, and have started implementing the notes on the hyperlinks, and will have those completed by Monday. The graphics hyperlinks go to a folder with the previous draft of those graphics, but the newest version will be uploaded over the weekend into the folder, replacing the previous draft. Likewise, the folder with our video will contain additional versions of the video (with captions, music, etc) by the end of the weekend.
